Washington: The Palisades area, located about 32 km from Los Angeles, has been devastated by a devastating fire. Many famous personalities live in this area. Shourie said, “Sparks were flying hundreds of meters up in the sky with the wind and it was very scary, this has never happened before. I even heard a fire brigade official say that it was like trying to stop a hurricane. Usually planes are used to control such fires, but no planes could be deployed there. Humans were trying to deal with the situation, but they looked helpless.” She said, ”I can’t even help my friends. All my friends’ houses in the neighbourhood have been reduced to ashes or damaged.”
Billionaires Beach destroyed
Many families of Indian origin have lost everything in the worst fire ever in the Los Angeles area. Another resident of Indian origin said, ”At least it is a relief that there was not much loss of life due to people leaving the place on time. It will take three to five years for these families to recover.” He told PTI, ”I and my family moved to Redondo Beach last November, so we are not directly affected by this fire. My office was on the Pacific Highway, popularly known as Billionaires Beach. The entire area of several miles from the beach to the interior has been destroyed, which is known as ‘Billionaires Beach’.”
