Uttar Pradesh: In Bareilly, a youth had to pay a heavy price for posting a post with the slogan ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ on social media. After it went viral, the police arrested the accused and sent him to jail.

A youth in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, had allegedly shared a post with anti-national slogans on his social media account. After which this post went viral like fire. People objected to this matter. A case was registered against the accused on Thursday. In view of the matter, the police arrested one of the accused and sent him to jail.

Posting a post on social media with slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ in Nawabganj, Bareilly proved costly for the youth. The police arrested him and sent him to jail. The youth has been identified as Imran (25), a resident of Nawabganj area.

Inspector Raj Kumar Sharma said that the police had received information that Imran had allegedly posted a post on his Instagram account with the slogan ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, hurting the sentiments of the users. After which the whole matter was investigated. After that the accused has been arrested.

Protest seen after the post
With the post on social media, a ruckus has started on it. First, people asked to remove the post and apologize in the comment box of this post. But when this did not happen, people protested and informed the authorities about the matter. Since the matter was serious, the administration also took immediate action without being negligent.

A unique punishment was given in Madhya Pradesh in a similar case

A similar case was seen in Madhya Pradesh a few months ago. Where a youth in the capital Bhopal was sentenced for raising the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad. The court had ordered Mohammad Faizal, who raised the slogan, to attend the police station on the first and fourth Tuesday of every month and raise the slogan of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ there.
