J&K: Outbreak of unknown mysterious disease in Badhal village of Rajouri district, 17 people died in 44 days, administration declared the entire village a containment zone

The outbreak of an unknown mysterious disease is increasing in Badhal village of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. 17 people have died in Badhal village in the last 44 days, the cause of which has not been known yet. The administration has now declared the entire village as a containment zone. Entry of outsiders in the village has been banned and the affected families have also been asked to stay in their homes.

3 containment zones have been created in Badhal village of Rajouri district. In the first zone, the houses of the deceased have been sealed and entry of all has been stopped. In the second zone, the families who came in close contact with the affected persons have been kept. They have been sent to the Government Medical College. At the same time, all the families of the village have been kept in the third zone. Here the food and drink of the villagers is being constantly monitored.

Death of 6 children of the same family
In fact, all the 17 people who died in Badhal village of Rajouri district are from only 3 families. At the same time, from yesterday till today, a young man and 4 children fell ill in the village, whose treatment is going on at the moment. Earlier, 6 children of the same family have died. Initially, the administration sent blood samples, food and water samples of the affected family and other people of the village to the lab regarding the mysterious disease, but the disease could not be detected.

Inter-ministerial team formed

After this, taking the matter seriously, an inter-ministerial team was sent to the village by the Union Home Ministry. Union Home Minister Amit Shah formed an inter-ministerial team on January 18 to investigate the mysterious deaths. This team includes experts from various ministries including health, agriculture, chemicals and fertilizers as well as experts from many prestigious institutions of the country.

There is an atmosphere of fear among the people of the village regarding the mysterious disease. Hundreds of samples were sent to the lab in the last one month. But no negative result has come out in any investigation. The health department has also tested water and food items, but no poisonous substance has been detected. So many deaths still remain a mystery for everyone. A team of experts is engaged in investigation.
