Mumbai: Big news has come out in the case of the murder of NCP leader and former minister Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Shivkumar Gautam, the accused and main shooter of the attack on Siddiqui, has told in his confession to the police why the order for this murder was given. Gautam told that Anmol Bishnoi had ordered to attack Baba Siddiqui due to his connection with Dawood Ibrahim and involvement in the 1993 Mumbai blasts.
When was Baba Siddiqui killed?
Siddique (66) was killed in Mumbai’s Bandra East area on 12 October. This murder was carried out by three attackers by shooting outside the office of Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan Siddiqui. Gautam also claimed that he was asked to kill Baba Siddiqui or Zeeshan Siddiqui and in return he was promised Rs 15 lakh. Let us tell you that Gautam’s confession is part of the chargesheet filed.
Gautam told the police that he used to collect junk in Pune and sell the goods to co-accused Harish Kumar Kashyap. Kashyap, who runs a junk shop, had arranged for his stay. During this time he was introduced to Praveen Lonkar and his brother Shubham Lonkar.
Gautam told that one day Shubham Lonkar told the shooter that he and his brother work for the Bishnoi gang. In June 2024, Shubham Lonkar (Shubbu) told me and Dharmaraj Kashyap (co-shooter) that if we work on his instructions, we can be given Rs 10 to 15 lakh. When I asked about the work, Shubham told us that we have to kill Baba Siddiqui or his son Zeeshan Siddiqui. But he did not give any further information.
