PM Modi said, ‘The accident in Prayagraj Mahakumbh is very sad. My deepest condolences to the devotees who have lost their loved ones in this. Along with this, I wish for the speedy recovery of all the injured. The local administration is engaged in all possible help to the victims. In this regard, I have spoken to Chief Minister Yogi ji and I am constantly in touch with the state government.’
The PM also said, ‘The tragic accident that happened in Kumbh has lost many virtuous souls. I express my condolences. I am in constant touch with the UP government. There is a huge crowd due to Mauni Amavasya. The bathing was stopped for some time, now it is going on smoothly.’
