The death toll in the Prayagraj Mahakumbh accident has risen to 49. The Mahakumbh administration has released the picture of 24 unidentified dead. These 24 people could not be identified in the accident. Actually, 30 people died in the Mahakumbh accident on the day of Mauni Amavasya. The government had given this information. But 25 people who died in this were identified and five could not be identified.

Actually, the Mahakumbh administration had told that the accident happened only at Sangam Nose, in which 30 people died. But it is being claimed that a stampede also took place in Jhunsi on the day of Mauni Amavasya, which was revealed by the eyewitnesses there on the camera of TV9 Bharatvarsh. Eyewitnesses told that there was a stampede in Sector-21 of Jhunsi at around 4 am on the day of Mauni Amavasya. An accident also took place here.

It is being claimed that about 24 people have died in the stampede in Jhunsi, whose posters have been put up outside the Prayagraj post-mortem house. Efforts are being made to identify the dead through these posters. Many questions are also being raised about the death toll. Are the number of people who have died as per the official figures released by the administration or is the number much more than that.

30 devotees died at Sangam Nose
A total of 30 people died while 60 people were injured in the accident at Sangam Nose on the day of Mauni Amavasya. After first aid, 24 injured were taken home by their families, while 36 are undergoing treatment in the hospital. At the same time, CM Yogi announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakh each to the families of the deceased. Also ordered a judicial inquiry into the accident.

The investigation team formed after the Maha Kumbh stampede will go to Prayagraj today. The investigation committee will inspect the incident site today. CM Yogi has ordered a judicial inquiry into the Maha Kumbh accident. An inquiry committee has been formed under the leadership of retired judge Harsh Kumar.
