Interstate Liquor Smuggler Arrested: The campaign for the Delhi Assembly elections has now ended and now voting will be held in a single phase for all 70 assembly constituencies on February 5. Illegal liquor smugglers are being especially monitored during this time. As a result, the South District Police has succeeded in arresting an interstate liquor smuggler along with seizing a large consignment of illegal liquor in two cases. In these cases, the police have recovered a total of 6980 quarters of illegal liquor.

DCP Ankit Chauhan said that the South District Police has significantly intensified its efforts to ensure a safe and transparent election environment. Emphasizing on the prevention of any disruption or illegal activities, active steps are being taken to deal with both organized and street crime. Increasing the visibility of the team in the area, the suspects are being questioned under the “Roko-Toko” campaign.

Police are trying to arrest them

In particular, instructions have been given to the police team of all the police stations of the district to curb the illegal liquor traders in the district. For which the team is constantly developing information about them by activating the sources and trying to arrest them. As a result, the teams of Fatehpur Beri police station and AATS have arrested an interstate liquor smuggler along with seizing a consignment of liquor.

4000 quarter bottles of illegal liquor seized

An interstate smuggler of illegal liquor has been arrested from Fatehpur Beri police station area. The police have recovered 4000 quarters of illegal liquor from his possession. The accused arrested in this case has been identified as Bunty. He is originally from Lakhimpur Kheri in UP and lives in Mandi village in Delhi. Police have recovered 80 cartons of liquor from him, which includes 4000 quarters of liquor. Four cases have already been registered against accused Bunty.

AATS caught liquor in Nebsarai

AATS police, acting on the information received from sources, tried to catch a car-borne illegal liquor smuggler by setting up a trap, but he managed to escape. However, the police seized the vehicle and recovered 2980 quarter bottles of illegal liquor from his car. Which was smuggled from Haryana. A case has been registered in this matter at Nebsarai police station.
