No statement has been given by Dinesh Mohania in this matter. Case was registered against Mohania earlier also

Earlier also a case was registered against Aam Aadmi Party MLA Dinesh Mohania on 23 June 2016 by a group of women for allegedly misbehaving. He was accused that women had come to him with a complaint about the water problem in their area and he had misbehaved with the women.

AAP MLA was arrested

In 2016, Mohaniya was booked under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 354 (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354A (sexual harassment), 354B (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe) and 354C (voyeurism) and was arrested. However, in 2020, MLA Dinesh Mohaniya was acquitted in this case.
