Uddhav Thackeray: There is a lot of restlessness in Shiv Sena (UBT) after the crushing defeat in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Many leaders are worried about their political future. Meanwhile, a news has come out which has created a big stir in the Thackeray faction. It is reported that six MPs of the Uddhav faction may leave the party.
According to sources, six MPs of the Thackeray faction are in contact with the Shinde faction. Through ‘Operation Tiger’, 6 out of 9 MPs of the Thackeray faction may join the Shinde faction. Sources have revealed that efforts are underway to complete this campaign before the upcoming Parliament session.
Discussions have been going on for several days regarding ‘Operation Tiger’. Due to the anti-defection law, MPs were contacted for the last few days to gather the number of 6 MPs. If this law was to be avoided, then 6 out of 9 MPs of Thackeray had to separate, otherwise action could be taken against the separated group under the anti-defection law. Therefore, the number of 6 MPs was important to avoid the anti-defection law. That is why it took time to convince the MPs completely.
Shinde succeeded in convincing 6 MPs of Uddhav faction
Meanwhile, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena has finally succeeded in convincing 6 MPs and it has been revealed that meetings were being held continuously behind the scenes. It is reported that six MPs are ready to join the Shinde faction and will soon join the party. BJP is also supporting Shinde in this matter. Along with this, it is reported that some MLAs are also in touch. However, no decision has been taken about the MLAs yet.
Why will the MPs leave the Uddhav faction?
Actually many MPs are worried about their future. They want to be in a strong coalition government for the next five years. At present, they are also facing difficulty in collecting money. When they join the Shinde faction, they will get benefits at the Center as well as in the state because Shinde faction is part of the government at both places. The issue of party and symbol is now over. The main reason is that Shiv Sena fought the elections under the leadership of Eknath Shinde and people accepted him. Also, he got recognition in the assembly elections. Shiv Sena won a big victory. In such a situation, the issue of party and symbol is no longer there. With the support of BJP at the center, development work will accelerate. Also, there will be no problem in getting funds.
