Haryana Politics: Kumari Selja, MP from Sirsa Lok Sabha seat of Haryana, said today that Congress is fully prepared for the upcoming civic elections in the state. Kumari Selja attended the program organized on the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti in Fatehabad and laid the foundation stone of Guru Ravidas Library Hostel. The government should conduct the census soon – Kumari Selja

On the question of removing the names of thousands of people of Haryana from the list below the poverty line, Kumari Selja said, “Until the government conducts the census, the correct figure cannot be revealed. Therefore, the government should conduct the census soon. There has been no census after 2011. We are demanding accurate data, as Sonia Gandhi had also said in Parliament that if you do not conduct the census, we will not have the real figures.”

The Congress MP said, ”Today we do not even know what is happening in the country. The government keeps releasing different figures. The figures will come only when the census is done, which has not happened since 2011. You all have heard the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister, but the real picture is not coming out.

Regarding the infighting in BJP, Kumari Shailaja said, ”Earlier such questions were raised on Congress, but now it is in front of everyone what game is going on inside the BJP after coming to power.” Without taking the name of Anil Vij, she said that BJP should understand that when the senior leaders of the party are not happy, then how will the public be happy.
