Nitish Kumar: CM Nitish Kumar, who reached Arwal on Friday during Pragati Yatra, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 144 schemes. Rs 11065.77 lakh will be spent on these schemes. During this, the CM gave a symbolic cheque of five crore 70 lakh to the Jeevika group and inspected the stalls of various schemes. During this, the Chief Minister said that we have done a lot of development work in Arwal district. Still, whatever is left or lacking will be completed.
Announcements made for the people in Arwal
CM Nitish Kumar met Jeevika Didi in Arwal district and said that women are becoming self-reliant. The Chief Minister gave a symbolic cheque of Rs 5.7 crore to the Jeevika group. He inspected 17 stalls set up by various government departments including Jeevika Didi in Belkhara ground of Arwal. During this, the CM also met the players and told the officials to build a good stadium so that the children can play well. CM announced in Arwal that Baidarabad road will be constructed from bus stand via Janakpur Dham, SP residence. Construction of this road will get rid of the problem of jam in Arwal market. Mali to Ekroja via Turktelpa road will be constructed. This road is in dilapidated condition. With its construction, the distance from Arwal to Gaya and Aurangabad will be reduced considerably.
At the same time, restoration work of Sinane Weir and Sinane Canal will be done under Kurtha block. This will provide additional irrigation facilities to the farmers. Road will be constructed from Mirzapur to Dakra under Kurtha block. This will provide great convenience to the people in commuting. Sports complex will be constructed in Arwal, this will promote sports.
Construction of auditorium in Arwal district headquarters
Apart from this, auditorium will be constructed in Arwal district headquarters. This will facilitate various big programs organized by the administration at the district level. Along with this, local social art organizations and artists will also get a platform for art performance. Industrial area will be developed in Koriyam in Arwal. This will give a boost to industries and people will get employment. New block-cum-anchal office building will be constructed in three blocks namely Arwal, Karpi and Kurtha in Arwal district.
