New Delhi: Four people have reportedly fallen unconscious due to suffocation caused by heavy crowd on platform number 13-14 at the railway station.

A major accident took place at New Delhi Railway Station on Saturday. Due to the large crowd at the station, a situation of suffocation was created. In such a situation, people trapped in the crowd started fainting. This accident happened on platform number 13-14 of New Delhi Railway Station. However, the Railway Unit of Delhi Police is denying any stampede on the platform. It is being told that 4 women who fainted were picked up and taken to the hospital.

According to the information, a train was about to arrive at platform number 13 of New Delhi to go to Prayagraj Mahakumbh. A large number of people had reached to catch this train. Due to this, there was a huge crowd on the platform. Due to this, a situation of suffocation was created. It is being told that due to this suffocation, many people fell unconscious one after the other. Due to this, there was a stir on the spot.

Railway denies stampede

In a hurry, the Railway Police picked up the four women and took them to the hospital. Where their condition is said to be better. After this incident, the Railway Police said that there is no stampede on the platform. This situation has arisen due to the large crowd. Let us tell you that there is a huge crowd of people going to Maha Kumbh from all over the country. The situation is similar in Delhi NCR as well. A large number of people from here have already gone to Maha Kumbh and taken a dip.

Even though the police have denied the stampede, news agency ANI has claimed that a stampede-like situation has arisen on the spot. After this news, the fire brigade has been called at the railway station.
