The matter of Atala Masjid of Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh has started heating up again. Till now this matter was going on inside the court, but now the petitioner has started receiving death threats outside the court. In this regard, the petitioner had earlier appealed to the DM-SP of Jaunpur for protection, but when no action was taken, the victim filed an application in the High Court. Now the High Court has ordered the DM of Jaunpur to protect the victim.

Let us tell you that Santosh Mishra, the state president of Swaraj Vahini organization, had knocked the door of the court, claiming that Atala Masjid of Jaunpur was originally a temple. It was alleged that earlier it was Atala temple. People of the Muslim community broke the idols installed in this temple and made a tomb here. On this basis, Santosh Mishra has demanded the court to conduct a survey of the controversial Atala Masjid. However, after the court’s notice, the Muslim side has opposed this application and demanded the dismissal of the petition.

The next hearing of the case will be on 15th April

Along with this, Waqf Atala i.e. Muslim side has also filed a monitoring petition. Whereas the Hindu side has demanded to dismiss it. At present, the hearing of this case is pending in the court of ADJ Fourth. Hearing was also held in this case on Tuesday. In this, the Muslim side argued that the matter of Worship Act is pending in the Supreme Court. Therefore, this case should be heard only after the decision of the Supreme Court. However, the court has fixed the date of 15th April for hearing in this case.

High Court gave orders to provide security

Meanwhile, many people have threatened to kill the petitioner. The victim had complained to the SP and DM in this regard, but no action was taken. After this, the victim pleaded for security in the High Court. Said that the accused are threatening him to withdraw from the case. They are threatening to kill him if he does not leave the case. The High Court, while hearing the petition of the victim, has given directions to the DM of Jaunpur. In this, it has been instructed to provide security to the victim.
