Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde had arrived at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the second phase of Raja Bhartrihari Matsya University in Alwar. During this, he told the girl students to become strong and face those who trouble them. We have very courageous girl students here. They should stay strong by keeping ideals. The Governor said that only getting a degree is not education.

The Governor said that I see many videos which make me feel ashamed. I have seen many such videos. People are ready to take away the honor of a girl and we are busy making videos. This is the mentality of people. We have to get out of this mentality. We have to leave the mobile and try to catch the accused. He said that some people keep waiting for the police. It is possible that till then someone may be killed. Why did this mentality come? The mentality will have to be changed. A lot depends on the mentality.

‘There is a lot of competition’
The Governor told the students to become eligible to go to the job. This does not mean only getting a degree. We have to demonstrate our intellectual ability. There is a lot of competition to get a job. Be it reservation or non-reservation. There is competition for everyone. You cannot pass by just reading text books. You have to study apart from text books. Those who study separately will move ahead. Everyone should study from teachers. There has been some change in the education system. But, there has not been much change in the main form.

‘Just getting a degree is not education’
The Governor said that just getting a degree is not education. Degrees were used a long time ago, when there were more jobs and less degrees. But, it is not so now. The work of promoting the identity of Nalanda University in the country has started. Earlier, an attempt was made to destroy our culture. But, our people tried to keep everyone safe by staying alive. We can develop our country ourselves. The new education system was made in 2020. 400 Vice Chancellors of the country and 1400 well-known people of the education sector have made an education policy in 2 years. This education policy will be good for the country.
