International Women’s Day will be celebrated on March 8 after 16 days, but this time Women’s Day will be special for the women of Delhi. Rs 2500 will be deposited in their accounts. On one hand, after winning the elections, the BJP party has announced that Rekha Gupta will be the CM of Delhi, on the other hand, Rekha Gupta has also announced that the assistance promised to women will be fulfilled first and Rs 2500 will be deposited in the accounts of women on March 8.
After 27 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party government has been formed in Delhi. Also, the party has given the command of the capital to a woman Chief Minister. In this time’s Delhi Assembly elections, all the parties had a special focus on the silent voter i.e. women voters. All the parties had also promised to give assistance to women. While the Aam Aadmi Party had promised to give Rs 2100, the BJP had promised to give Rs 2500. However, now after the victory, the BJP has started taking steps to fulfill this promise.
Rekha Gupta made the announcement
Rekha Gupta will be the fourth woman CM of Delhi. Before her, BJP had given the command of the CM post to Sushma Swaraj, Congress to Sheila Dixit and Aam Aadmi Party to Atishi. Rekha Gupta said about Mahila Samridhi Yojana, it is the responsibility of all 48 MLAs of the capital to fulfill the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We will definitely fulfill all our promises including financial assistance for women. By March 8, 100 percent women will get financial assistance in their accounts.
Which women will get assistance
Bharatiya Janata Party has promised to give Rs 2500 to the women of Delhi under Mahila Samridhi Yojana. Women will be given an assistance amount of Rs 2500 every month. However, it is important to know that this scheme is not for all the women of Delhi, but this gift will be given only to poor women. The party had announced in its manifesto that after forming the government in the capital, poor women will be given Rs 2,500 per month, pregnant women will be given a lump sum assistance of ₹21,000 and LPG cylinders for ₹500 for the poor and a pension of ₹2,500 for senior citizens was guaranteed.
Women’s Day will be special
While Rekha Gupta has announced after her name was announced for the CM post that this honor assistance will be given to women on March 8, i.e. Women’s Day. At the same time, it is also important to know that the senior leadership of the party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had already announced this date. PM Modi had said in the last election rally of Delhi elections that, we have pledged that we will give Rs 2500 to our sisters. This is Modi’s guarantee and this guarantee will be fulfilled. You will see that the Bharatiya Janata Party government will be formed in Delhi and on March 8, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, money will start coming into the accounts of women.
Special focus on women
There was a time when women used to keep a distance from politics and political matters. It was believed that women do not understand the world of politics that much, but now the pattern has changed. The percentage of women’s votes has increased and at times it has been recorded more than that of men. Women have become deciding voters from silent voters. Now they play an important role in choosing their government. This is a special reason why all the parties of Delhi focused on women and in the Delhi elections, the mention of women and the announcement of assistance for them was heard again and again. While BJP kept promoting assistance of Rs 2500, Aam Aadmi Party kept promising to give Rs 2100, but now the time has come to fulfill the promises made in the elections.
BJP’s return to power
After 27 years, the lotus has bloomed in the capital. BJP has returned to power. The party won 48 out of 70 seats, while Aam Aadmi Party had to be satisfied with just 22 seats. While BJP’s performance was much better this time, Aam Aadmi Party suffered a crushing defeat. Party’s veteran leaders and former CM Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain and Saurabh Bhardwaj could not even save their seats and could not taste victory.
