UP Budget Session 2025: On the fourth day of the budget session in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly today (Friday, February 21), during the Question Hour, Samajwadi Party MLA Ragini Sonkar raised important questions on topics ranging from economy to income tax. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while answering her, said that I can understand your pain.
SP MLA Ragini Sonkar asked several questions to the Yogi government on the issue of 1 trillion economy in the UP Assembly. In which he said that there are 60 crore people in the whole country, who have become dependent on ration. Every year 6 crore people are going below the poverty line. The SP MLA said that somewhere the poor, youth, women and middle class of the entire state are falling prey to the phrase of one trillion economy. Even in the coming 20 to 25 years from today, we cannot become a one trillion dollar economy.
On the other hand, in response to the question raised by SP MLA Ragini Sonkar on the economic issue, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while answering in the assembly, said that the honorable member has not prepared the question herself. She should know that Uttar Pradesh has set a target of one trillion dollar economy and India has moved towards becoming a 5 trillion dollar economy, not 3.
India will become a 5 trillion dollar economy in 2027 – CM Yogi
CM Yogi said that I can understand your pain. Your leaders say that India can never become developed, you will definitely follow them. CM Yogi said that there is no doubt that India will become a 5 trillion dollar economy in 2027. It is possible that some people are not liking it.
