According to a PTI report, the Trump administration has issued a notice saying that it has fired 2,000 employees working in USAID and sent thousands of other employees on leave. US District Judge Carl Nichols rejected the request by the employees to put a temporary stay on the government’s plan, after which so many employees have been laid off.
