CM Nitish Kumar Cabinet Expansion: Nitish cabinet is going to be expanded in Bihar today (Wednesday). Seven BJP MLAs will become ministers. There is not a single woman MLA among them. There were many names in the BJP list who were to be made ministers but the names of many veteran leaders were cut. They were eliminated. Keeping in mind the caste equation, there were three names from Rajput, Bhumihar and Yadav. There were four names from Vaishya community. There was one name from Kushwaha caste.
It is said that Raju Singh, Amarendra Pratap Singh and Ram Pravesh Rai were from Rajput caste. Out of these, Raju Singh is being made a minister. On the other hand, Jivesh Mishra, Aruna Devi and Kumar Shailendra were from Bhumihar. Jivesh Mishra is being made a minister. He has been a minister earlier as well. Talking about Kushwaha caste, only Sunil Kumar’s name was there. From Vaishya (extremely backward) there were names of Moti Lal Prasad, Lal Babu Gupta, Ram Narayan Mandal and Sanjay Saraogi. Out of these, Moti Lal Prasad and Sanjay Saraogi are being made ministers.
Apart from this, Vijay Kumar Mandal from the backward caste is being made a minister. Talking about the Yadav caste, the names of Naval Kishore Rai (MLC) and Gayatri Devi were there. None of them has been made a minister. That means they have been eliminated. The name of Awadhesh Kumar Singh was there from the Kurmi caste but he has not been made a minister.

Sanjay Sarawagi is an MLA from Darbhanga. He is a Marwari. Moti Lal Prasad is an MLA from Riga and belongs to the Teli caste. Raju Singh is an MLA from Sahebganj. He belongs to the Rajput caste. Vijay Kumar Mandal is an MLA from Sikti. He belongs to the Kewat caste. Dr. Sunil is an MLA from Bihar Sharif in Nalanda. He belongs to the Koiri caste.
