Punjab’s Bhagwant Mann government suspended 14 Tehsildars, know the reason

Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab is continuously in action mode. The government has suspended 14 tehsildars. After a long time, it has been seen that more than a dozen revenue officers who did not obey the government’s order have been punished. In fact, the tehsildars went on mass leave in protest against the action of the Vigilance Bureau in the state. The CM had given these people time till 5 pm today (Tuesday) to return to work.

To inspect the registry and property related services in the tehsils, CM Mann himself came out in the field and visited the tehsils of Kharar, Banur, Zirakpur and took stock of the situation. In this matter, the CM was in action mode since Tuesday morning. The CM has warned the tehsildars to return by 5 pm, otherwise they will be suspended.

The government suspended 14 tehsildars
After the Chief Minister’s warning, tehsildars returned to many districts, but some did not work. After which, taking action, the government has suspended 14 tehsildars. The government says that these employees were refusing to register the sales deed. Earlier, the CM had said in his order that if any officer does not return to his duty and does not fulfill the responsibility of registering the documents, he will be suspended.

‘The decision of mass leave is like coercion and blackmailing’
The government said that the decision of strike and mass leave is like coercion and blackmailing, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances. However, officers have started returning to many districts even before the time period is over. Officers have come to Mohali, Sangrur and Moga etc. in these districts. The CM had said that people will decide where they will join after the leave.

These people have been suspended
The 14 Tehsildars who have been suspended include Tehsildar Gurmukh Singh and Naib Tehsildar Bhimsen of Baghapurana in Moga district, Naib Tehsildar Amarjit Singh of Smallar, Naib Tehsildar Ramesh Dhingra of Dharamkot, Naib Tehsildar Hamish Kumar of Badhni Kalan, Naib Tehsildar Sukhwinder Singh of Nihal Singh Wala, Tehsildar Rajinder Singh of Block Guru Harsahai in Ferozepur district, Tehsildar Jagtar Singh of Ferozepur, Jitender Pal Singh of Malot Block in District Muktsar Sahib, Tehsildar Ranjit Singh Khaira of Sri Muktsar Sahib, Tehsildar Parminder Singh of Bariwala, Tehsildar Kanwaldeep Singh Brar of Gidderbaha, Naib Tehsildar Amrita Agarwal of Gidderbaha, Naib Balwinder Singh of Tehsildar of Doda.
