Arvind Kejriwal went for Vipassana for 10 days after the defeat in the Delhi assembly elections, BJP called him VIP Maharaja while Congress called him Shahanshah

Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a crushing defeat in the Delhi Assembly. After this defeat, Aam Aadmi Party convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has again gone for Vipassana in Punjab today. Both BJP and Congress have taken a dig at his Vipassana retreat and said how can a leader who claims to represent the “aam aadmi” travel with such an extensive entourage and use the resources of a state. Both BJP and Congress have criticized his “grand VIP security”.

Kejriwal has gone to Punjab today for a 10-day Vipassana session and yesterday he reached Hoshiarpur with a huge security convoy, ambulances, fire engines and many luxury vehicles. He has gone for Vipassana just a few weeks after the defeat of Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi Assembly elections.

BJP leader said-VIP Maharaja

Delhi minister and BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa in a post on Instagram said, “Arvind Kejriwal, who once pretended to be a common man in a WagonR, now moves in a grand convoy of bulletproof Land Cruiser, over 100 Punjab Police commandos, jammers and ambulances – moves like a VIP Maharaja for Vipassana. If he is showing his power then he has failed miserably in the test he had in the elections.”

The BJP leader also questioned the Punjab government’s funding for his security parade and said, “What kind of ‘Vipassana’ requires a grand security parade funded by the taxpayers of Punjab? Even CM Bhagwant Mann is not in the convoy!”

Congress leader said-Shahenshah

Senior Congress leader Sandeep Dixit accused Arvind Kejriwal of being addicted to power and luxury. He said, “Kejriwal loves power. I would say he is indulging in luxury… Kejriwal still lives under the illusion that he is some kind of a king or maharaja. Even after losing in Delhi, he has not woken up yet and is living in illusion.”
