Delhi Police has got a big success, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested a Naxalite by conducting an operation. The woman is so dangerous that Jharkhand Police has had three encounters with her. Police said that we got information that a Naxalite woman is working in Delhi by changing her identity. After this, we have arrested this Naxalite woman by conducting an operation.
Police gave this information
Police said that on March 4, 2025, the Crime Branch got information that an active member of the CPI (Maoist) organization is living in Pitampura area of Delhi and is working in Maharana Pratap Enclave there. After this, the female Naxalite has been arrested by raiding Pitampura. This 23-year-old woman is a resident of Kudaburu village in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. She was living in Delhi hiding her real identity and was working here under a fake name.
How did she become a Naxalite?
The arrested woman was born on 1 January 2002 in a farmer family in Kudaburu, West Singhbhum, Jharkhand. She is the eldest of 6 siblings. At the age of just 10, a Maoist from the village lured her away, saying that she would get better food, care and security there.
In 2016, she joined the CPI (Maoist) organization led by notorious Naxalite leader Ramesh and took training in a camp built in the Kolhan forests. There were 300-450 Naxalites in this camp, including 40-50 women and 4-5 children. Here she was given tough training to become a militant, in which she was taught to use sophisticated weapons.
Involvement in Naxalite activities
During police interrogation, the woman confessed that she underwent extremely tough training for 5 years and she has mastered the art of using deadly weapons like SLR, INSAS, LMG, hand grenade and .303 rifle. She usually carried an INSAS rifle during patrolling.
3 encounters with Jharkhand police
The police said that this woman has been involved with her gang in three encounters with Jharkhand police. She was involved in an encounter with Jharkhand police in Kolhan forest in 2018, she was also there during a clash with Jharkhand police in Porahat forest in 2019. Apart from this, she was also with the gang in a direct confrontation with the police force in Sonua in 2020.
Came to Delhi at the behest of the organization
After this, on the orders of the organization, she came to Delhi by changing her identity. Here she worked as a domestic help in Noida and Delhi since 2020 and lived secretly.
In a case of Jharkhand, on March 26, 2023, SDJM (P), Chaibasa, Jharkhand had issued a non-bailable warrant against the woman. Now Delhi Police has arrested him under section 41.1 of CRPC and section 35(1)(C) of Indian Civil Security Code 2023 and produced him in the court.
Activities of Maoist organizations reached Delhi
This arrest is not only a big success for Delhi Police but it also shows that members of Maoist organizations are now running their activities secretly in metropolitan cities. At present, the police is conducting further interrogation to reveal his contacts and further plans of the organization.
