BJP targeted former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal who had come to Punjab for Vipassana and said that Kejriwal has wasted Punjab’s money for his own ‘peace’.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal has reached Hoshiarpur in Punjab for a 10-day Vipassana session. He has started Vipassana from today but with this he has also come under the target of BJP. Delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has targeted Kejriwal and said that he has wasted Punjab’s money for his peace. Let us tell you that former Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal reached the Forest Guest House in Chauhal, about 14 km from Hoshiarpur, with his wife Sunita Kejriwal on Tuesday.

‘This fake simplicity of Kejriwal is another drama’

Sirsa targeted Kejriwal’s Vipassana and said that the Aam Aadmi Party supremo reached Hoshiarpur in Punjab with a convoy of 50 vehicles. He alleged that there were Land Cruiser cars worth Rs 2-2 crore in his convoy. Sirsa said that the convoy was being guarded by more than 100 commandos of Punjab Police. He alleged that Kejriwal is wasting the money of the people of Punjab for his peace. He said, ‘What is the use of such Vipassana where there is arrogance and pretense in a convoy of 50 vehicles instead of simplicity and introspection? This fake simplicity of Arvind Kejriwal is another drama.’

Kejriwal also came to Anandgarh in December 2023

Let us tell you that Kejriwal attended the 10-day Vipassana session at the Dhamma Dhaja Vipassana Center located in Anandgarh village, about 11 km from Hoshiarpur. He has been attending Vipassana sessions and before this he has visited many places including Jaipur, Nagpur, Dharamkot near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh and Bengaluru. This is the second time Kejriwal has come to Anandgarh for Vipassana. Earlier he had attended the 10-day session in December 2023. Let us tell you that Vipassana is an ancient Indian method for meditation which focuses on self-transformation through self-observation.

AAP suffered a crushing defeat in the assembly elections
After losing the election from New Delhi seat in the Delhi Assembly elections on February 5, Kejriwal has not appeared in public and has limited himself to party-related activities. The Aam Aadmi Party ruled Delhi from 2015 to 2024 with a massive mandate but in this recent assembly election, it was reduced to 22 seats in the 70-seat assembly. The Bharatiya Janata Party ended the dominance of Kejriwal’s party in Delhi by winning 48 seats. Many big leaders of AAP including Manish Sisodia, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Satyendra Jain and Somnath Bharti lost the elections.
