Chhattisgarh Road Accident: A bike rider has died in a road accident in Jagdalpur of Bastar district in Chhattisgarh. According to the information, the bike rider lost his life after colliding with the car of former Congress MLA Rekhachand Jain. It is being told that the former MLA was coming from Bastanar to Jagdalpur on National Highway-30, during which the accident happened.

A road accident has happened near Kodenar. The deceased has not been identified yet. Giving information about the case, Kodenar police station in-charge Mohammad Tariq said that former Congress MLA Rekhachand Jain had gone to Bastanar in connection with the election, this accident happened while returning from there.

Road accident between Raikot and Tokapal

The police officer further said that there was a collision between Raikot and Tokapal with a bike coming from the front, in this accident the bike rider died on the spot while former MLA Rekhachand Jain riding in the Fortuner car survived. After the incident, the body has been sent to the hospital, while the relatives of the deceased are being traced.

9 people died in separate road accidents

9 people died and 16 others were injured in two separate road accidents in Chhattisgarh in the last 24 hours. Officials said that 5 people died in Raipur district on Thursday afternoon, while 4 people lost their lives and 16 others were injured in Narayanpur district on Wednesday night.

Raipur Additional SP (Rural) Kirtan Rathore said that five people died in an accident in which a car hit a divider and collided with a truck near Umaria village on National Highway 53 under Mandir Hasaud police station area. He said, “The car was going towards Arang when the driver lost control over the vehicle. The car hit the divider and collided with the truck and 5 people died tragically.
