Jaisalmer: Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje celebrated her birthday by worshipping the mother goddess at the Tanot temple and performing Shatru Vinashak Yagna along with BSF jawans deployed on the India-Pakistan border.

Jaisalmer: Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje celebrated her birthday on Saturday with the Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers deployed on the India-Pakistan border. She worshipped the goddess at Tanot temple and performed Shatru Vinashak Yagna for the protection of soldiers and the security of the country. Vasundhara Raje also prayed for the prosperity of the state. On this occasion, Jaisalmer MLA Chhotu Singh Bhati and Pokaran MLA Pratap Puri Maharaj were also present with her.

The former Chief Minister said, “May the lotus keep blooming with the blessings of Mateshwari Tanot Rai, may the support base of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) keep increasing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and may the flame of ideology lit by my mother Rajmata keep growing rapidly.” Raje reached Tanot without any prior information, but when BJP workers came to know about her arrival, they reached there in large numbers to congratulate her.

Expressed gratitude to party workers
The former Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the party workers and said that during the Indo-Pakistani war of 1965 and 1971, the Pakistani army had unsuccessfully tried to attack the temple of Tanot Mata. He said that Pakistan was defeated both the times.

Birthday celebrated across the state
On the other hand, Raje’s birthday was celebrated across the state on Saturday. In all the districts, party workers fed fodder to cows, distributed fruits to the patients, recited Sunderkand and honored women. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also wished Vasundhara Raje on her birthday.
