However, Darbhanga district mayor Anjum Ara has asked the residents of Darbhanga city to stop Holi from 12:30 to 2 pm because the time of Jumma cannot be extended. After this statement of the mayor of Darbhanga, now BJP MLA Haribhushan Thakur has made a big attack on the mayor. He has described Mayor Anjum Ara as Ghazwa-e-Hind and of terrorist mentality.
Mayor is a woman of terrorist mentality- MLA
BJP MLA Haribhushan Thakur said- “The mayor of Darbhanga is a woman of Ghazwa-e-Hind and terrorist mentality. The family she comes from has a long history. Holi will happen and will happen all over the place. Those who don’t like it should abstain. Where are the RJD, Congress and Communist people? Why have they gone silent? They are trying to set fire, that fire will not happen. The administration should take strict action against such people. Holi will not stop and will not stop even for 1 minute. Where are the people of RJD and Congress who were creating a ruckus over my statement under the politics of appeasement and vote bank. Why are they silent today? Nothing will stop anywhere, Holi will happen in a very fierce manner.”
Minister Sanjay Saraogi also gave a statement
Minister Sanjay Saraogi in the Bihar government has also reacted to the statement of Darbhanga Mayor Anjum Ara. He said- “People of all religions should respect all religions. Sanatan Dharma gives the message of love, affection and brotherhood. This statement is not appropriate at all and this mentality is also not correct. Such mentality should change and this statement is not acceptable under any circumstances.”
