Congress On RSS: Senior Maharashtra Congress leader and former MP Hussain Dalwai on Saturday March 15, 2025 reacted to the recent statements of Tushar Gandhi, Asaduddin Owaisi and Sanjay Raut. Apart from this, he advised SP leader Abu Azmi for praising Aurangzeb.

RSS terrorist organization – Congress leader

Hussain Dalwai supported Tushar Gandhi’s statement in which he called RSS a cancer. Dalwai said, “What Tushar Gandhi said, “He is right. I have said it before and I say it today also that RSS is a terrorist organization. Wrong things are taught in its branches. Tushar Gandhi has not said anything wrong.”

The Congress leader said, “Tushar Gandhi’s life is in danger and the government should provide him security. It is the duty of the government to protect Tushar Gandhi’s family, as attempts of violence against Gandhiji are continuing.” Hussain Dalwai supported Asaduddin Owasi’s statement on the Waqf Amendment Bill.”

‘Conspiracy to snatch property of Muslims through Waqf Bill’

He said, “This bill is being brought so that mosques and property of Muslims can be snatched away. Through this bill, the government wants to usurp the land and property of Muslims. Many opposition parties have opposed this bill. India Alliance is also against it. We oppose this bill.”

Congress leader targets Veer Savarkar

Regarding Veer Savarkar, Dalwai said that it is true that Veer Savarkar had written many wrong things about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and made wrong comments about him. Apart from this, he also said negative things about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. When Jawaharlal Nehru came to know about this, he got Savarkar’s books removed, but why is Devendra Fadnavis not doing the same thing now? The people of RSS did not consider Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as a king, but as a professional. This is extremely shameful.”

‘BJP’s rule is worse than Aurangzeb’

Hussain Dalwai also agreed with Sanjay Raut’s statement related to Aurangzeb. Comparing the BJP government with Aurangzeb, Raut had said that the current rule is worse than that. On this, Hussain Dalwai said, “Aurangzeb’s rule was cruel, but BJP’s rule is worse than that. BJP acts arbitrarily and violates democratic processes.

Apart from this, he strongly criticized SP leader Abu Azmi for praising Aurangzeb. He advised Abu Azmi not to praise Aurangzeb and said that Aurangzeb was a cruel ruler and we should not praise him. Abu Azmi needs to read history.
