Jyoti Singh said – anyone can contest elections
When Jyoti, who had come to attend the Holi Milan program in Rohtas district, was asked about the possibilities of contesting elections, she said that look, anyone can contest elections and Pawan Singh ji has already contested the Lok Sabha elections. I am very happy that this time both of us are going to contest the elections. When asked if the husband and wife would contest the elections on the same party ticket, Jyoti said, “Absolutely. If we get a chance, it will be a matter of great happiness for us.”
What did Jyoti say about campaigning for Pawan?
When asked about the possibility of campaigning for Pawan Singh, she said that one has to take out time in a relationship. I will do as much as I can. I have done it before and will do it in the future too. If he contests the assembly elections, I will stand with him at every step.
Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh tried his luck as an independent candidate from Karakat constituency of Bihar in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. However, he had to face defeat at the hands of CPI ML candidate Raja Ram Singh.
