London: During Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s speech at Oxford University’s Kellogg College, students protested against the violence in Bengal and the RG Kar College case. Students raised questions on Tata’s departure from Bengal and the government’s role in the RG Kar case.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is on a London tour these days. During this tour, something happened that is now being discussed everywhere. Mamata was giving her speech at Oxford University’s Kellogg College in London, during which some students interrupted her speech. The protesting students were registering their protest with the CM on the post-election violence in Bengal and the RG Kar College case.

The CM appealed to the students not to make it a political platform, and answered all the students one by one. The Chief Minister was invited to Kellogg College to speak on the social development of women, children and weaker sections of the society.

What questions did the students ask CM Mamata?

Mamata Banerjee was saying during the speech that if she opens a college in their state, she will give them land within 24 hours. During this, some loud questions started coming at the venue, due to which everyone got worried about what happened? After this, some students came forward and kept firing questions one after the other. During the event, the people sitting behind stopped Mamata in the middle and showed posters.

The students asked Mamata why did Tata have to go back from Bengal?, What are you, the state government, doing in the RG car rape-murder case. Responding to these questions of the students, Mamata Banerjee said that please do not do politics here brother, this is not a political platform. This is a platform for education, it has been left as it is, if you want to do politics then you can come to my state and do it, not here. The CM said that the RG tax case is going on in the court.

What did CM Mamata say in her speech?

CM Mamata said in her speech that our mission is that there should be no discrimination between students, women, farmers and workers. We should consider all people as human beings. Without humanity, this world cannot move, continue or survive.

She said that if I die, I want to see unity before I die. Unity is our strength and division leads to our downfall. This was the belief of Swami Vivekananda.
