Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, his meeting with Hemant Soren lasted for about two hours

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) gave this information in a statement. According to the statement, Adani reached the Chief Minister’s residence in Ranchi on Friday evening. His meeting with Hemant Soren lasted for about two hours.

The statement said that on this occasion many topics related to investment in Jharkhand were discussed. This is Gautam Adani’s first meeting with Hemant Soren after the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led coalition came to power for the second consecutive time in the state in November last year.

Adani meets Chief Minister Soren

Gautam Adani reached Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi on Friday evening by a special plane. After this, he went straight to the residence of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, where the CM formally welcomed him. On this occasion, Adani also congratulated Hemant Soren on becoming the Chief Minister once again. After the discussion, Adani left for the airport from the CM residence at around 10:30 pm.

Investment of more than 1000 crores proposed

Adani Group is already successfully operating an ultra-supercritical thermal power plant with a capacity of 1600 MW in Godda district of Jharkhand. Apart from this, work is going on to set up a cement grinding unit of 40 lakh tonnes capacity in Motiya village of Godda. An investment of more than Rs 1000 crore is proposed in this project. More than 2500 people are likely to get direct and indirect employment from this project.

Appeal to invest in Jharkhand
CM Hemant Soren had also appealed to investors to invest in Jharkhand at the Global Business Summit held recently in Kolkata. He had said that the state government will give all possible support to investment related projects so that development and employment opportunities increase rapidly in the state.
