Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has criticised the politics being done on language and said that the states whose leaders are fuelling this controversy are lagging behind. CM Yogi also said in an interview that huge employment opportunities are being created in Uttar Pradesh and such narrow politics can harm the prospects of the youth. The Chief Minister said, “New employment opportunities are opening up in Uttar Pradesh, jobs are being created. Those who are creating controversy over language can fulfill their political interests but in a way are hitting employment opportunities for the youth.”

When asked if he was referring to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, he said, “Whoever he is, he is doing the same. This is the reason why these states are gradually lagging behind. They have no other issue and are inciting emotions to achieve their political interests.”

‘UP government is teaching languages ​​like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam to students’

CM Yogi said that languages ​​like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali or Marathi can become the foundation of national unity. He said that the Uttar Pradesh government is teaching languages ​​like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi to its students. He asked, “Does this make Uttar Pradesh smaller in any way? Does it belittle Uttar Pradesh?”

Mentioned the three-language formula
The Chief Minister said that everyone believes that Hindi should be respected but India has adopted the three-language formula. Adityanath said, “This three-language formula ensures that regional languages ​​also get equal respect. Every language has its own specialty which forms the foundation of national unity.” He said every regional language has its own folk traditions and stories that bring out the diversity of the nation and make it stronger. Adityanath said the ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’ initiative is the best example of this as it brings together Tamil and Sanskrit, the oldest languages ​​of India.
