Samajwadi Party (SP) has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah demanding to increase the level of security cover given to party chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. The party has said that their leader has been provided Z+ security cover, which is not enough, his National Security Guard (NSG) security cover should be restored.

Let us tell you that Z+ security is for the security of a particular person, in which many security personnel protect them. At the same time, NSG security is given in situations where the security of the whole country or a large group is at risk and it acts as a special force.

Z+ Security Protocol

Z+ security is the highest level of security provided by the Government of India, which includes a large number of police security forces and private security guards.

In Z+ security, 20-30 armed security personnel are deployed around the person, some of whom may be members of CID, some commandos and some other high security forces.

This security is a personal security service, which is provided by the government to those individuals whose security may be at serious risk, such as prominent leaders of the country, industrialists or other high-ranking government officials.

NSG Security Protocol

NSG is a special force of the Government of India, which is trained to deal with terrorist attacks, violent incidents, hijacking or any other type of threat.

The main objective of NSG is to ensure the internal security of the country, especially in those situations when it is difficult to deal with the normal police or other forces.

NSG members are experts in combat operations, hijacking rescue missions and strike operations. Their main job is to provide security in more challenging and dangerous situations.

NSG has specially trained soldiers like snipers, commandos and black cat commandos who are capable of dealing with any type of terrorist incident.

People protected by the close security force of NSG commandos include Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BSP supremo Mayawati, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, senior BJP leader LK Advani, Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, BJP leader and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh. Apart from this, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and DPAP President Ghulam Nabi Azad, National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu have also been provided security by NSG commandos.
