A contingent of the Indian Air Force reached Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates, where it will participate in the major multinational air combat exercise, Exercise Desert Flag-10. According to the Ministry of Defense, MiG-29 and Jaguar aircraft of the Indian Air Force are participating in the exercise. Both these aircraft are among the best aircraft of the country.
Exercise Desert Flag is a multinational exercise organized by the UAE Air Force, in which other countries are also participating apart from the Indian Air Force. Countries like Australia, Bahrain, France, Germany, Qatar Saudi Arabia, Republic of Korea, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom and United States are included. The contingents of the air forces of these countries are participating in Exercise Desert.
Exercise will be held between 21 April to 8 May
This exercise is to be conducted between 21 April to 08 May 2025, for which all preparations have been made. The aim of this exercise is to carry out complex and diverse combat missions while exchanging operational knowledge and best systems with some of the most capable air forces in the world.
Military cooperation between countries will be strengthened
The Ministry of Defense says that participation in such exercises increases mutual understanding and interoperability and also strengthens military cooperation between the participating countries. The participation of the Indian Air Force underlines India’s commitment to strengthen defense ties and interoperability with friendly countries in the region and beyond.
Joint military exercise with Uzbekistan in India
While India is practicing on foreign soil, on the other hand, joint military exercise Dustlik is going on in India with Uzbekistan. It is being told that this exercise is focused on responding to terrorist action that occupies a specified area. In this, raids, search and operations to destroy terrorist hideouts are being practiced. This exercise going on in Pune will continue till April 28. The most modern weapons and equipment are being used in this exercise.
