After this attack, tension between India and Pakistan has increased significantly. In this episode, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that the tension between India and Pakistan has increased the most this time in the last several years. I am saddened to see that the relationship has reached a boiling point.
‘Targeting civilians is unacceptable’
The Secretary-General of the United Nations said that I understand the feelings of the people after the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22. I once again strongly condemn that attack and express my condolences to the families of the victims. He further said that targeting civilians is wrong.

The region and the world cannot afford a confrontation between India and Pakistan
