After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, tension between India and Pakistan has reached its peak. War-like conditions have arisen between the two countries. Meanwhile, mock drills were conducted at 295 places in the country today to deal with the situation of war. In this, citizens were given training to protect themselves during an attack. All this is being done so that the safety of the people can be ensured during a war situation.
Under this, emergency preparedness was practiced at Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple in Delhi. Akshardham Temple organized a comprehensive mock drill – Operation Sindoor in collaboration with Delhi Police and Emergency Response Team. During the Civil Defense mock drill, all the lights of Akshardham Temple were turned off. After this, the lights of the temple were gradually lit.

Blackout during exercise
The aim of this exercise was to assess and enhance ground coordination, response time and preparedness for possible emergency situations. During this exercise, situations like blackout (power cut), air raid siren (air raid warning) and evacuation procedures were practiced. Delhi Police says that we are committed to the safety of all visitors and devotees.
Training to deal with emergency
Apart from Akshardham, blackout was done in many areas of Delhi. Civil defense mock drill was conducted at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi Airport. In this, people were trained to deal with emergency. Operation practice was conducted at 55 places across the city at 4 pm in Delhi. During this, air sirens warning of air raid were sounded.
India took revenge for Pahalgam attack
Earlier, India took strict action in revenge for Pahalgam attack. Army soldiers carried out missile attacks on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK late on Tuesday night, which also include strongholds of terrorist groups Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. There is an atmosphere of celebration across the country due to this action against Pakistan.
