Firing continues on the border between India and Pakistan. Meanwhile, in view of the tension between the two countries, the leaves of all government doctors and paramedical staff in private hospitals including the medical college in Meerut have been cancelled. Meerut CMO has instructed everyone to be prepared. CMO Ashok Kataria has instructed government and private hospitals to remain alert 24 hours a day in case of any accident or emergency.
FAIMA appeals to doctors
Let us tell you that after the attack on India by Pakistan, war-like conditions have arisen between the two countries. India has also entered Pakistan and attacked many of its bases. Meanwhile, the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) has called for nationwide emergency medical preparedness. FAIMA issued a letter saying that we request all doctors and organizations to immediately organize blood donation camps and support our defense forces in any case. The medical fraternity is united with our brave soldiers. In view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, the core committee of FAIMA has given the following suggestions for each RDA and State Medical Association.
Operation Sindoor continues
In retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack, India has created havoc by launching Operation Sindoor on the terrorist bases of Pakistan. Enraged by India’s attack, Pakistan’s army is continuously firing on the LoC. Pakistan targeted dozens of Indian cities with missiles, drones and fighter jets on Wednesday night and Thursday, but the Indian Army foiled most of the attacks. Dozens of missiles and drones including 3 fighter jets of Pakistan were shot down in the air. Now the Indian Army is also wreaking havoc in the cities of Pakistan. This has increased the commotion all over the world.
