Milind Deora – Trusting Pakistan is like shaking hands with a grenade, Pakistan violated the ceasefire just hours after the agreement and started firing across the border.

Shiv Sena leader Milind Deora has given a statement on the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan. He said that trusting Islamabad is like “shaking hands with a grenade”. His statement came at a time when former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also said that despite the ceasefire, sounds of explosions were heard in Srinagar.

“…then ceasefire has no meaning”

Pakistan violated the bilateral agreement made in the afternoon to immediately stop all types of firing and military actions on land, air and sea. Regarding this, Rajya Sabha member Milind Deora expressed his reaction on the social media platform ‘X’ and said, “When the world’s largest terrorist syndicate is not just Lashkar-e-Taiba or Jaish-e-Mohammed, but the Pakistan government itself, then ceasefire has no meaning.” The former Union Minister said in his sharp words that trusting Pakistan is as dangerous as shaking hands with a “grenade”.

After the ceasefire was implemented, Pakistan did a nefarious act

Let us tell you that after the conflict that lasted for the last three days, a ceasefire agreement was reached between India and Pakistan. On Saturday itself, the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMO) of Pakistan and India agreed to stop all kinds of firing on land, air and sea after talking on the hotline. After this, the Indian Foreign Ministry said that the ceasefire has come into effect from 5.0 pm on Saturday, but within just four hours, Pakistan violated the ceasefire and started firing from across the border. Also, many cities were targeted through drones.
