Patna: A few days ago, an incident of a fake policeman came to light in Bihar, after which a case related to fake CBI officers has also come to light. The police have arrested three accused who claimed to be fake CBI officers. These accused were working under an organized gang. All of them were arrested by the police from different places. All these accused used to call themselves officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). They used to extort money from common people by threatening them. These arrested accused were also involved in incidents like robbery and dacoity.

Actually, Patna Police has exposed a gang that extorted money from people by posing as fake CBI officers. The police have arrested three members of this gang. Giving information about the case, the police said that these three accused used to call themselves CBI officers. They used to extort money from common people by threatening them with fake posts. The police has also recovered a large quantity of weapons from these three accused. Two pistols, three cartridges, six mobile phones, army uniform and fake CBI identity card have also been recovered from their possession.

Not only this, the police further said that these accused, who claimed to be CBI officers, already have cases of robbery and dacoity registered against them. The three accused who have been arrested have also been identified. The three accused are Ritan Kumar Singh, Arvind Kumar and Nitish Kumar, who have been arrested. According to a statement issued by Patna Police, “All three were arrested from different places in Patna on Saturday. Initial investigation has revealed that they used to claim to be CBI officers to extort money from people.”
