Yesterday (Thursday, May 22) a strong earthquake also hit Greece. Its intensity was measured at 6.0 on the Richter scale, after which a tsunami warning was issued. The German Research Center for Geosciences said that a 6.0 magnitude earthquake occurred on Thursday near the coast of Crete, Greece.

The German Research Center said that the earthquake occurred at 6:19 am, 58 km from Elounda in the north-east of Crete and at a depth of 60 km. Due to the earthquake, European authorities also issued a tsunami warning. However, there has been no damage due to this earthquake.
