Former Bihar minister Tej Pratap Yadav on Saturday claimed that his Facebook page was hacked. He made this claim hours after a post went viral on the social media platform, which said that he is in a relationship with a young woman. The controversial Facebook post of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son has now been removed.
In a post released on social media platform X, he said, “My social media platform is being hacked and my photos are being wrongly edited using AI to harass and defame me and my family members. I appeal to my well-wishers and followers to be cautious and not pay attention to any rumours.”
Tej Pratap’s relationship post on Facebook
In the Facebook post, Tej Pratap Yadav was quoted as saying that both of them (the girl in the viral photo and Tej Pratap) know each other for the last 12 years and also love each other. We have been in a relationship for the last 12 years. However, this did not go down well with social media and many taunted Tej Pratap (37) over his wedding, which took place with much fanfare in 2018. For now, Tej Pratap has called this post a conspiracy to defame him.
Married to former chief minister’s granddaughter
Tej Pratap Yadav married Aishwarya, granddaughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Daroga Rai. However, within a few months, Aishwarya left the house alleging that her husband and in-laws had thrown her out of the house. After this, Aishwarya’s father and former minister Chandrika Rai left RJD and vowed to fight his daughter’s battle politically and legally.
Appeal not to pay attention to rumors
The couple’s divorce petition is pending in the family court here. Since then both the parties have been accusing each other. Meanwhile, it is not clear whether Tej Pratap has lodged a complaint with the police about the hacked Facebook page and post. Nevertheless, he urged his supporters and followers to remain cautious and not pay heed to any rumours.
