However, when the post-mortem of the body was done, the report revealed that the murder was committed by strangulation. After this the police started investigating the matter.

Regarding this incident, deceased Mansingh’s elder brother Rameshwar Verma had lodged a complaint with the police. The police investigated the matter and revealed that the man’s wife Nirmala and nephew Vedvyas had strangled him to death. According to the information given by the prosecution, Mansingh’s wife Nirmala had an illicit relationship with his nephew Vedvyas. Mansingh was murdered for opposing this relationship.
