Rohit Negi Murder Case: Former Mandal President of BJP Yuva Morcha Rohit Negi was shot dead on June 2 in Premnagar police station area of ​​Dehradun in Uttarakhand. Due to which there was a sensation in the whole city. The main accused of this murder, Azhar Tyagi and his another accomplice have been arrested after an encounter. Both the accused are injured in the encounter and have been admitted to the hospital.

In view of the sensitivity of the matter, police force has been deployed in the area. The main accused Azhar Tyagi is a resident of Barla, Purkaji located on the Mangalore border of Muzaffarnagar district. The encounter took place when the police was chasing the accused.

What is the whole matter?

Let us tell you that BJP leader Rohit Negi was shot dead at DBIT Chowk in Premnagar late night on June 2. Azhar Tyagi and his accomplice fired indiscriminately on Rohit’s Bolero car, in which the bullet hit Rohit’s neck and he died on the spot.

The reason for the murder is said to be the rivalry between Rohit and Azhar over a female friend named Anya Khan. Dehradun police was conducting raids in Gurugram, Noida and his ancestral district Muzaffarnagar in search of Azhar Tyagi.

Police on alert mode

SSP Ajay Singh said that the encounter took place on the Mangalore border. In this, one accused has been shot in the hand and the other in both legs. Both are being admitted to the hospital. The accused belongs to another community, so police has been deployed on the Mangalore border and alert has been put on.

Anger among the people

Rohit Negi’s murder had caused a lot of anger among the people of the area. People had raised the demand for checking the hostels in the area and also protested against the police.
