MP: Family members of Shivansh Gupta, an MBBS student of Jabalpur Medical College, demanded from Jabalpur Police and Medical College management to conduct a fair investigation of the entire case and take strict action against the guilty seniors.

MP: The case of MBBS student Shivansh Gupta, who committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the hostel in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, has taken a new turn. The family has alleged ragging of Shivansh. Shivansh’s uncle Dinesh Gupta has alleged that Shivansh had called his mother three days ago and told her about ragging.

In fact, MBBS first year student Shivansh Gupta committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the hostel. Today, as soon as Shivansh’s body was handed over to his family, a huge crowd of students gathered at the spot.

The family of MBBS student Shivansh Gupta has demanded from Jabalpur Police and Medical College management to conduct an impartial investigation of the entire matter and take strict action against the guilty seniors. Currently, Medical College Dean Dr. Navneet Saxena has formed a five-member team to investigate the ragging case.

Shivnsh’s uncle Dinesh Gupta has made serious allegations regarding ragging. He told that Shivansh had called his mother three days before committing suicide and told her that his seniors were raging him for buying a new bike. He alleged that Shivansh’s room partners now know about it but are keeping quiet out of fear.

Shivansh was a very bright boy and cleared NEET in his first attempt. He has two sisters who are also doctors.

A committee of 5 professors has been formed to investigate the matter

Seeing the MBBS student suicide case gaining momentum, the Dean of the Medical College, Dr. Naveen Saxena said that a five-member committee of professors has been formed for the investigation. He also said that the hostel where Shivansh was living is only for first year students, so the chances of ragging by seniors are low.
