Delhi Nehru Vihar Rape Case: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Delhi’s Nehru Vihar area where a minor girl was brutally murdered after being sexually assaulted. The girl’s body was found inside a briefcase in a closed house, from which blood was continuously oozing.
This incident happened on the night of June 7 at around 8:41 pm, when the police received a call that a minor girl had been raped in Nehru Vihar’s lane number 2. When the police reached the spot, it was found that the girl was taken to JPC Hospital by her father, where doctors declared her dead. In the preliminary investigation, doctors have suspected deep injury marks on her face and sexual assault.
The father trembled after seeing his half-naked daughter soaked in blood
The father of the dead girl told that on Saturday evening his daughter had left the house to give ice to her Badi Ammi who lives nearby. When she did not return for a long time, the family started worrying a lot, after which her search was started.
When they reached the house of the family to whom she had to take ice, they found out that she did not return home. When the family inquired from the children nearby, they found out that the girl had gone towards a house. When the father reached that house, it was locked from outside. After breaking the lock and going inside, he found a briefcase from which blood was oozing.
As soon as he opened the briefcase, the ground slipped under his feet. He saw that his daughter was lying unconscious, half naked and soaked in blood. Immediately regaining his composure, he took the girl to the nearby hospital, where the doctor declared her dead.
Family’s allegation – Some local boys raped her
The victim’s family alleges that this heinous crime has been committed by some local boys of the area. They say that the accused are absconding since the incident.
The police have taken the victim’s body into custody and sent it for postmortem and a case has been registered under FIR number 300/25 under section 103(1)/66/13(2) of BNS and section 6 of POCSO Act.
Raids in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Aligarh
According to the information, the police has formed 6 teams to search for the beasts. The crime branch and forensic teams of Delhi Police have inspected the spot and started the process of collecting evidence. Also, 6 teams have been formed to identify and arrest the accused, which are continuously conducting raids in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Aligarh. The police say that they are investigating all the technical and local clues so that the accused can be arrested as soon as possible.
After this incident, there is an atmosphere of panic and anger in the area. Local people and social organizations have also demanded the immediate arrest of the accused. The police have assured that the culprits will not be spared under any circumstances and they will soon be brought to justice. This case once again raises serious questions about the safety of women and children in the capital.
