Baba Siddique Murder Case: Zeeshan Akhtar, the main accused in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, has been arrested in Canada. Maharashtra minister Yogesh Kadam has given this information. Earlier on Tuesday, June 10, news came that Zeeshan Akhtar has been detained in Canada.

Mumbai Crime Branch sources claimed that they had received information about Akhtar being in custody. Actually, Zeeshan Akhtar was absconding since the murder of Baba Siddique. Police is investigating how he might have gone abroad, he used a fake passport to go abroad. Police suspect Akhtar may have gone to Canada via Nepal.

Murder happened last year
Let us tell you that NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his son’s office in Bandra, Mumbai on October 12. Gurmel Singh, Dharmaraj Kashyap and Shivkumar Gautam shot Baba Siddique and tried to escape from the scene. But, with the help of people present on the spot, Gurmel Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap were caught, while Shivkumar Gautam managed to escape. Later he was arrested from Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh, when he was trying to flee to Nepal.

The accused had done recce of the house earlier
The accused had done recce of Baba Siddiqui’s house and office two months ago. Investigation revealed that the accused had pistols and live bullets and were always ready to commit murder. On the night of October 12, they got the opportunity and opened fire.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility for this murder. The gang says that Baba Siddiqui was murdered due to his close relations with actor Salman Khan. A case has been registered under MCOCA against all the accused arrested in the Baba Siddiqui murder case.

4,590 page charge sheet filed
This year, the Mumbai Crime Branch has filed a 4,590 page charge sheet in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. According to the charge sheet, on the night of October 12, 2024, Gurmel Singh, Dharamraj Kashyap and Shivkumar Gautam shot at Baba Siddiqui and tried to escape from the scene. The accused had earlier conducted a recce of Baba Siddiqui’s house and office.
