President Draupadi Murmu will arrive on a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh today and will first attend programs in Bareilly and then Gorakhpur. According to officials, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will welcome her at both places. An official statement issued in Lucknow said that President Murmu is coming to Gorakhpur for a two-day stay.

During this time, she will attend important programs of three institutions and after landing at Gorakhpur airport, she will cover a distance of 129 kilometers by road. The President will travel to all the program venues in Gorakhpur by road.

Will reach Gorakhpur today afternoon

According to the statement, President Draupadi Murmu will reach Gorakhpur today afternoon and will return to Delhi the next day on Tuesday, July 1 evening. Before this, she will attend the convocation of a veterinary and research institute (IVRI) located in Bareilly. According to the statement, today she will attend the first convocation of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Gorakhpur and will give medals to meritorious students.

Will participate in these programs

Apart from this, on July 1, she will inaugurate the state’s first Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University, Pipri Bhathat. It has been said that after this she will inaugurate the academic building, auditorium, panchkarma at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University Arogyadham, Sonbarsa and lay the foundation stone of the women’s hostel.

The President will also visit Gorakhnath temple

Apart from this, she will visit Gorakhnath temple at different times on both days. There is also a program of darshan-worship of Guru Gorakhnath and prasad reception in Gorakhnath temple. The statement said that after reaching Gorakhpur airport, the President will cover a total distance of 37 km by road on the first day to and fro Circuit House, AIIMS and Gorakhnath temple.

According to this, the next day she will travel a total of 92 km by road in movement to Circuit House, Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University Pipri Bhathat, Gorakhnath Temple, Mahayogi Gorakhnath University Arogyadham Sonbarsa and airport. Draupadi Murmu will be the first President to undertake such a long road journey in Gorakhpur.

CM Yogi took stock of the preparations

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already taken stock of the preparations for the programs to be held at AYUSH University and Mahayogi Gorakhnath University. The President will attend the 11th convocation of Bareilly’s Veterinary and Research Institute (IVRI) today.

Convocation ceremony organized

IVRI Director Dr. Triveni Dutt said on Sunday that the convocation will be organized in the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium of the institute on Monday and President Murmu will be the chief guest of the ceremony. He said that the President will arrive here at the airport from Delhi, where she will be welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandi Ben Patel.

Governor and Union Ministers will also be present

Dr. Triveni Dutt said that along with the President, Chief Minister and Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Chaudhary, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar and ICAR Director General Dr. Mangi Lal Jat will also be present at the ceremony. During the ceremony, the President will be on the stage of Swami Vivekananda Auditorium for about 50 minutes.

Tight security in Swami Vivekananda Auditorium

An official said that due to the arrival of very special guests, tight security arrangements are being made in Swami Vivekananda Auditorium. He said that for the President’s visit, five Superintendents of Police (SP), nine Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP), 18 Circle Officers (CO), 55 Inspectors, 250 Sub Inspectors, 300 women constables, 700 male head constables and four companies of PAC have been deployed for security.
