Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Yogi government of the state. He has cornered the government on issues such as the murder of SP worker in Sultanpur, alleged rigging in Uttar Pradesh elections and delay in distribution of tablets. Akhilesh said that the family should get justice in the case of murder of SP worker Sunil Yadav in Sultanpur. He has accused the government of being lax in this matter.
Speaking to the media, Akhilesh said that ‘Our worker has been murdered in Sultanpur. This is very sad. The government should take immediate action in this matter so that the family gets justice.’ He also claimed that there has been large-scale rigging in the elections of Uttar Pradesh. He alleged that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are deliberately deleting people’s votes.
Moradabad election has been completely looted: Akhilesh
Raising questions on the Moradabad election, he said that ‘Moradabad election has been completely looted. Election Commission is hiding the data. Akhilesh also alleged that the most infamous officers of UP were given important responsibilities in the elections. Due to which the fairness of the elections has been affected. Along with this, Akhilesh said that ‘the votes of the people of UP have been deleted. In these elections, each person came after casting 6-6 votes. All this is being done in a planned manner, which clearly shows that the government is misusing its powers.
Why did the Yogi government not distribute tablets in the last 9 years?: Akhilesh
Targeting the Yogi government, Akhilesh also mentioned the failure of the tablet distribution scheme. He said that ‘Why did the government not distribute tablets in the last nine years? There is talk of making education digital, but in reality nothing is happening.’ He also mentioned the internal conflict of the government that ‘There is a fight going on in the entire government. Officers are writing against each other. Ministers are complaining against the officer. Even the Deputy CM is complaining.’
We are not against Marathi language: Akhilesh
Akhilesh also expressed his views on Marathi language. He said that ‘those who want to teach the language should invest one thousand crores. We are not against Marathi language.’ Taking a dig at BJP, he said that the policies and functioning of the government are not in the interest of the public. The SP chief also said that his party is making full preparations for the 2027 elections.
