Under an important order issued by the Delhi Police Headquarters two days ago, a total of more than 30 ACPs (Assistant Commissioner of Police) and Inspectors were transferred with immediate effect.

ACP Vijay Kumar Nagar was sent from Shahdara/SHD to Welfare Branch.
ACP Jagdish Prasad was sent from Vivek Vihar to Shahdara District Headquarters.
ACP Anil Kumar was sent from Connaught Place to New Delhi District.
ACP Shailendra Singh has been transferred from Subhash Place to Security Branch.
ACP Yudhwinder Singh has been sent to Traffic Department.
Inspector Ajay Pal Tomar has been made SHO Metro Line-3 from Special Branch.
Inspector Vinod Yadav has been appointed SHO Okhla Industrial Area.
Reshuffles have also been made in Delhi Police’s Special Branch, Railways, Crime Branch, Airport, Licensing Unit and police stations of various districts.
Regarding this transfer, senior officials of Delhi Police say that this will increase better coordination, accountability and efficiency in the field. Also, there will be an opportunity to share experiences in various units.
