Delhi government has decided that now travel in Delhi buses will be completely free for transgender community also. Soon it will be passed by the cabinet and implemented.
I have full hope that this decision will greatly benefit the people of the transgender community.
Kejriwal said, ‘A good news has to be given. Kinnar community is that society which till date all the societies have neglected it and no work has been done for them. If you look at any government in the entire country, in the last 75 years no government of any party has done any work for the transgender community. Today I am very happy to tell you that the Delhi government has taken a big decision for the transgender community. We have decided that arrangements will be made for free travel in Delhi buses for the people of Kinnar community. Just like we give free travel to women, similarly all the people of Kinnar community will be given free travel.
Arvind Kejriwal has said that in the month of October 2019, our government had brought the facility of free bus travel for women in Delhi. Due to which lakhs of women are benefiting every day.
