The monsoon session of Parliament has started. Today, i.e. Monday, was its first day. As soon as the process of the first day of the monsoon session started, there was a ruckus in the Lok Sabha. Due to the uproar of the opposition members, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha on Monday were adjourned for the day after three adjournments. The proceedings of the Rajya Sabha also could not start properly.

After this, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha started again but then the leaders of the opposition party started creating a ruckus, after which the proceedings were again adjourned till 2 o’clock. After this, the Bills of Lading Bill, 2025 was passed in the Rajya Sabha.

Operation Sindoor will be discussed for 25 hours in Parliament

Operation Sindoor will be discussed in Parliament next week. Operation Sindoor will be discussed for 16 hours in the Lok Sabha while it will be discussed for 9 hours in the Rajya Sabha. Apart from this, the Income Tax Bill 2025 will be discussed for 12 hours in the Lok Sabha. There will be a 3-hour discussion in the Lok Sabha on the Indian Post Bill. There will be an 8-hour discussion on the National Sports Bill. There will be a 2-hour discussion on the Manipur budget. Apart from this, TDP is demanding a discussion on 50 years of Emergency. On the other hand, BJP leader Anurag Thakur has demanded a discussion on rain and floods in Himachal.

Big meeting chaired by PM Modi in Parliament House

On the other hand, a big meeting was held in Parliament House on Monday under the chairmanship of PM Modi. Many leaders including Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh were present in this meeting. The monsoon session of Parliament will run from 21 July to 21 August. During this time many bills are likely to be introduced and passed.
