Here she made a friend who promised to take care of her and introduced her to an old Asian man. The man first gave her gifts and then started making her addicted to cigarettes and alcohol. According to the girl’s mother, she suspected her friend, but she said don’t worry, I will take care of her.
This is how the girl became a victim of grooming gang
According to the girl’s mother, I did not think at that time, but now I feel that the girl was hired to find a victim. A few days after I met my girl, that Asian elderly man raped her. After this, he bought her a mobile and told her to keep it hidden. The girl said that by the time I could understand the cunning of that man, I got stuck in that quagmire. He started to be brutal with me every day. According to the girl’s mother, she would go missing from school every day and return home the next morning. Many times I filed a report of her missing. The police would come to my house, but would not do anything. At that time I was the mother of a small child, I could not go out, so I was dependent on the police. I tried a lot, begged the policemen, but they did nothing. She would return drunk, I banned her from going out of the house, but I could not stop her from going to school.
I did not know about the grooming gang
According to the girl’s mother, she did not know about the grooming gang till that time. I talked to her, I came to know that she had been raped, I then went with the police. I took the help of social service, but everything was useless. The phone that was given to my daughter started receiving calls from Asian men who wanted to have sex with her. Suddenly one day everything fell apart when the police found the girl with an illegal immigrant who had raped her. The police handcuffed my daughter and declared her a prostitute. She was sent to a reformatory, where she stayed for 6 years.
She was continuously raped for 6 years
A judge ordered the girl to be kept in a reformatory, where the grooming gang continuously raped her for 6 years. The girl was told that now she cannot go home. Outside, there was terror of the members of the grooming gang. She was already feeling lonely living there, on top of that, members of the grooming gang would enter her room through the window and rape her, and she would be threatened to keep quiet. I also filed a case against four rapists, but the police did not take any action. She alleges that the police knew all this but did nothing. There was some evidence against them, which I later gave to the Sherwood Committee, which was investigating historical child sexual abuse cases in Oldham, but none of the accused were arrested.
